Fruit Shrikhand

Preparation Time: 1 hour


Ingredients

Ghee ¨C 1 cup
Bengal gram flour (besan) ¨C 2 cups (coarsely ground)
Khoya (mawa) ¨C 1 cup (grated)
Cardamom powder ¨C 1 tsp

Method

  1. Hang curds in a muslin cloth to remove water.
  2. Keep for at least four hours to drain out completely.
  3. Take out thick curd in a thali, mix powdered sugar.
  4. Sieve the mixture for even mixing.
  5. Mix cardamom powder and fruit pieces.
  6. Keep in the refrigerator till serving time.
  7. It should not become sour.
